Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Dreamily (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the App. These Terms apply to all users, including parents, guardians, and anyone who accesses the App on behalf of a child.

2. Description of Service

Dreamily is a personalized bedtime story application for children. The App uses artificial intelligence to generate unique stories tailored to a child's name, age, and interests. Stories may include generated illustrations and text-to-speech audio narration.

3. Eligibility & Parental Consent

Dreamily is intended for use by children under the supervision of a parent or guardian. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and, if you are allowing a minor to use the App, that you are the child's parent or legal guardian.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information without your consent, please contact us at support@dreamilystories.com.

4. User Accounts

You must create an account to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

Dreamily offers a free tier and a premium subscription (“Dreamily Premium”). Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's payment terms.

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • You may manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID Account Settings.
  • Free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends.
  • No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods except where required by law.

6. Story Generation Limits

Free users may generate up to 3 stories per month. Premium subscribers may generate up to 30 stories per month. Story limits reset on the first day of each calendar month. We reserve the right to adjust limits with reasonable notice.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App.
  • Use automated tools to access the App or generate stories at scale.
  • Share, sell, or distribute AI-generated stories for commercial purposes without our written permission.
  • Input content that is harmful, abusive, hateful, or sexually explicit.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and technology within the App — including but not limited to the Dreamily name, logo, user interface, and underlying AI models — are the property of Dreamily or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Stories generated by the App are provided to you for personal, non-commercial use. You retain no intellectual property rights in AI-generated content.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI-generated content will always be age-appropriate. You use the App at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dreamily and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
